Writ on disputed title allowed

In a recent ruling, the Lahore High Court has affirmed that a rent tribunal and its appellate court cannot render any finding as to disputed title of land. While deciding several writ petitions, the Court set aside three previous orders by the rent tribunal and Additional District Judge, and found for the petitioner.

The petitioners were successfully represented by partners Ashtar Ausaf Ali and Asad Rahim Khan, senior associate Faiz-e-Azhar, and associate Mian Ali Tariq Rehman.
